APCOORDINATOR
DEAR STUDENT AND FAMILY
Guidance for every step of your AP journey.
It is my pleasure to welcome you to the Advanced Placement (AP) Program at Private Grammar School. My name is Jakeline Trejos Jimenez, and I serve as the school's AP Coordinator. In this role, I work closely with students, teachers, and families to support every step of the AP journey — from choosing the right courses, to preparing confidently for AP examinations, to making the most of the opportunities these courses open up.
The AP courses offered at our school are university-level classes, designed to challenge you academically while giving you the chance to earn college credit and/or advanced placement once you begin your university studies. They are among the most valuable ways to prepare for the pace and rigor of higher education, all while still supported by the teachers and community you know.
ABOUT THE AP PROGRAM
University ambition.
School community.
AP offers university-level courses that give students the opportunity to earn college credit and/or advanced placement in college.
Our school currently offers 10 AP classes, with plans to expand to at least 12 next year. AP exam scores are recognized by more than 600 institutions in 66 countries outside the United States.
